ZAQ is a Japanese singer-songwriter, composer, lyricist, and arranger whose work is closely associated with anime music. A classically trained pianist who began playing at age three, she made her major-label debut in 2012 with “Sparkling Daydream” and has since written and performed numerous anime themes while also composing for other artists. Her catalog draws from rock, pop, jazz, hip-hop, and electronic music, with an emphasis on complex melodies and highly active arrangements.
