Risa Hokamura

Risa Hokamura is a Japanese violinist who gained international recognition at 17, winning First Prize at the 2018 Young Concert Artists International Auditions and the Silver Medal at the International Violin Competition of Indianapolis. She has since appeared as a soloist with orchestras in the United States and Japan, including the Indianapolis Symphony, Tokyo Symphony, Tokyo Philharmonic, New Japan Philharmonic, and Sapporo Symphony, and has given recitals at Merkin Concert Hall, the Kennedy Center, Kioi Hall, and Symphony Hall.
